This comprehensive event gives prospective students the opportunity to experience the Radford University Department of Dance firsthand. During your visit, you will meet current students and faculty, tour campus and participate in a group audition class including ballet, contemporary/modern and jazz. You will also present a prepared solo of no more than two minutes in a dance genre of your choice.

Please bring any music needed for your solo downloaded to a cell phone. Streaming music is not recommended.

Approximately two weeks before the audition, you will receive an email from the Department of Dance with the detailed schedule, directions, what to bring and other information to help you prepare for your visit.

Please note: Application to Radford University is a separate process that may be completed before, after or concurrent to the Dance audition process. Radford University uses the AIMS Parking Management System which requires us to ask for your license plate number and the state associated.
Once this information is within our system, it will replace the need for a paper pass.

If your vehicle/plate is different on the day of your visit, please send your new vehicle information to Emily Ewoldt (eewoldt@radford.edu) to update the system. Your virtual pass is valid only on the day that you are scheduled for a visit.
